Composition:

Each 1 mL contains,
Closantel – 50 mg
Excipient q.s. 1 ml.

Indication:

Cattle: Prophylaxis and treatment of hepatic distomatosis caused by adult and larval forms of Fasciola hepatica; gastrointestinal nematode infections caused by adult and larval forms of bloodsuckers, such as Bunostomum spp., Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei and Oesophagostomum radiatum; hypodermosis caused by the subcutaneous larvae of Hypoderma spp.

Sheep: Prophylaxis and treatment of hepatic distomatosis caused by adult and larval forms of Fasciola hepatica; gastrointestinal nematode infections caused by adult and larval forms of bloodsuckers, such as Bunostomum spp., Haemonchus contortus, Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Chabertia ovina; treatment of oestrosis in larval stages, caused by Oestrus ovis.

Withdrawal time:

Meat: 30 days.
Do not administer in lactating females producing milk for human consumption

Dosage:

Cattle: Administer in a single dose: 0.5 ml/10 kg of body weight (2.5 mg of closantel/kg of body weight) in case of distomatosis and gastrointestinal nematode infections. 1 ml/10 kg of body weight (5 mg of closantel/kg of body weight) in case of hypodermosis. Subcutaneous or intramuscular route.

Sheep: Administer in a single dose: 1 ml/10 kg of body weight (5 mg of closantel/kg of body weight) in case of distomatosis. 0.5 ml/10 kg of body weight (2.5 mg of closantel/kg of body weight) in case of oestrosis and gastrointestinal nematode infections. Subcutaneous route.
It is recommended to divide the dose between several injection sites.
