Antimastitis – A

Intramammary ointment for Lactating cow

 

Composition:

Each 10 g contains,
Sodium cloxacillin – 250 mg
Neomycin sulfate – 200 mg
Sodium sulfadimidine – 500 mg
Chymotrypsin – 8 mg;

Indication:

Indications It is intended for lactating cattle in the treatment of acute mastitis caused by Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, E. coli and all those germs sensitive to antibiotic association

Contraindication:

Do not apply in cases of fungal mastitis.

Withdrawal time:

Milk produced by the affected quarter should not be consumed until 4 days after the last treatment.

Dosage:

Previous teat disinfection and after thoroughly milking the affected quarter, apply 1 syringe every 24 hours for 3 consecutive days, or as directed by a veterinarian. To get a better diffusion of the drug, perform a gentle massage on the breast using circular upward movements, after administering the ointment.
